Hello
For me the joy of being in the mountains lies not just in the personal challenge of pushing for faster times and harder climbs, but in the sense of immersing yourself in these dramatic, rugged landscapes and their accompanying weather. It is something which brings me a deep calm and an appreciation for our wild places, and this is something I want to enable others to access with my guiding.
Angus' Story
In 2022 I completed my Mountain Leader training and assessment, as well as my Mountain Bike Leader qualification and I am now using those qualifications to allow me to introduce others to my local mountain area - both through this site and as a freelance guide for other companies. As a full member of the Mountain Training Association and a student at the School of Adventure Studies, I am continuing to develop my skills year-round, working towards gaining the Winter Mountain Leader and Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor qualifications in the coming years.
